Everything
You Always Wanted
to Know About Maestro

The Definitive Source for Information About Maestro!

The "official" sources for Maestro information are either expensive, hard to access or incomplete. Our goal is to provide all the information you need to be successful with Maestro: bug reports and other known problems, patches, workarounds, best practices, how-to, etc. If you don't see it, ask for it.

Why Is ACE Maestro Central?

We have been working with Maestro since the first stand-alone beta of Maestro back in fall 1984, and have participated in every important product event since then. Additionally, Keith Olson was the QA Manager at Unison for the port of Maestro from MPE to Unix. We are the Maestro experts!

How Can Maestro Central Help You?

If you are a Maestro user or considering Maestro as your job scheduler, you will find the latest product information, bug reports, fixes/workarounds, and tips to help you get the most out of your investment in Maestro. We update this site on a regular basis with information not usually provided by Tivoli. We hope you enjoy the documentation provided here, but use at your own risk.

Subscribe to the Maestro Discussion List

The membership of the Maestro Discussion List now numbers more than 250, with most key Tivoli resources subscribed. If you're an established Maestro user, a newbie or considering the purchase of Maestro (but please, no Autosys users wanting to act superior!), the Maestro Discussion List is your best resource for information about all platform implementations of Maestro. Maestro Extras

The whole point of Maestro Central is to provide additional documents, utilities, scripts, etc. that further your productivity with Maestro. We're working on (honest) a hypertext compilation of Maestro-l messages, along with a central repository for contributed scripts, etc. If you have any scripts (Unix or NT), job streams (MPE), white papers or anything else you would like to share, please e-mail them to keith@acellc.com for inclusion in Maestro Central. In the meantime, please keep visiting the Maestro resource page for Maestro extras.

A Word From Our Sponsor

Yes, we provide a full array of Maestro consulting and support services for all versions, all agents, all platforms. Please feel free to contact us if you are considering a job scheduler or already have Maestro and have any questions.
